Introduction

Spiders are a common fear for most children and adults but spiders do not attack people without a reason. They are actually more afraid of us than we are of them and most their bites are a result of us intruding on their territory. Spiders territories are located around the world and depending on the species, spiders can live in very hot desert areas or cooler humid areas. Becasue of the diverse environment in the USA their are about 1000 species of spiders. They belong to a class of animals known as arachnids and are closely related to ticks, mites, and daddy-longlegs.
Along with the many environments spiders also have different behaviors, colors, sizes, and life spands. For example the turantula has a life spand of about 15 years. As for the bahavior the different species depict some of the spacific behviors performed by spiders. Such as young spiders often become cannibals and eat each other after birth. Spiders can also be found with different colors and those colors can reflect the amount of poison or the species they are related to. Spiders are also a major part of our environment and the food chain depends on their survival just like any other prominant species.
