Horses, donkeys and zebras are all equidae. The zebra is found in Africa in the grasslands. They have black and white stripes, each individual to the specific zebra. Depending on the species, a zebra might have markings on its legs as well. The domestic horse and the ferel horse can be found almost anywhere in the world. The color of their coat is a wide range. Depending on their breed, horses have four long legs, a fairly long neck and a somewhat stocky body. The donkey ranges in color from all shades of gray, to browns and paints. They have short stocky bodies, and a large head, cow-like tail, and long ears. A close relative of the zebra is the quagga. The quagga is extinct, yet a group of people are working to bring them back if possible. Donkeys and horses are being promoted for use in physical therapy. It has been clinically proven that presence of live animals calms and relaxes people.
