Introduction
Now that you have finished reading your mystery novel and have selected a topic for further study, it's time to begin gathering resources for your research project. Use our online catalog, HIP, to look for books on your topic. Use online encyclopedias for general background on your subect (on the Research Databases page of the Media Center web site). Find magazine and newspaper articles on your topic with EbscoHOST Web (also on the Research Databases page). Use the following links to find Web sites that will provide you with additional information on your particular mystery research project. When you have checked out my suggestions, use a good search engine, like Google, to find more sites of your own. Last of all, use NoodleTools (also on the Research Databases page)to help you write your Works Cited page.
