• Medicine Through Time - This superb site for students has tons of information on the history of medicine--including online lessons, games, quizzes. A great resource for teachers too.

• MedlinePlus: Medical Dictionary - An online dictionary that will answer all your lexical questions.

• Multilingual Glossary of Medical Terms - This glossary offers both technical and popular words (examples: abdomen, gut), and it does so in 9 languages.

• Images from the History of Medicine Library - This searchable database has 60,000 images related to medicine and its history.

• EMP: English for Medical Purposes - A Medical English site with interactive online activities. You'll find gap-fill activities on grammar and med topics, sound files, and mini-tests.

• Self-Diagnosis Center - You can diagnosis your self here. But it's a great med learning tool too. Select various symptoms and see what medical problems turn up.

• Quick Online Medical Terminology Quiz - There are 10 questions for this quiz, and you can do it onlline.
