1930's Website - From a high school in California - This is an awesome site. It has links for almost all of our topics!!!
African Americans in the 1930's - General info. about the 1930's.
America in the 1930's - A general 1930's website. Has lots of pictures for you to consider. They may give your presentation some nice primary sources.
American Cultural History 1930-1939 - A great general website for the 1930's. This is the one that had most of the scavenger hunt questions on it.
American Life Histories: Manuscripts from Fed. Writer's Project - Look here for interviews of people who lived during the 1930's.
American Memory - This is the website Mrs. Eulberg worked with. It shows many primary sources.
Black History Hotlist - There are links here for tons of good websites. It also includes a lot of primary sources.
Encarta Encyclopedia - Start here for basic information on your topic. In addition to giving you some good background information, it will help you get key words for later searching.
FDR - Presidential Library - Pictures of great depression
Library of Congress - This website has general information about historical events in the United States. It will also give some audio files.
Mrs. Eulberg's List of Sites - This will get you to the list of sites Mrs. Eulberg made. They are the ones on the handout she gave you in class.
Reconstruction - African American Oddessy - Resonstruction from an African American point of view.
Reconstruction - The second Civil War - PBS website on Reconstruction. A great place to get primary sources.
Rubistar - This is the website that you will use to make your rubric for your project.
Turning Points in Wisconsin History - The site Mrs. Eulberg took you to. You can search for your topic and Wisconsin history.
World Book Encyclopedia - Use this to look up articles about your topic.

Documenting America - Pictures of the Great Depression - A great source for 'primary sources' on the great depression. Please do not go here until Wednesday!!!!

The Great Depression and The New Deal - General site for the great depression.
The New Deal Network - Gives great information on The New Deal. Use for FDR and The Great Depression.

Black Codes - Civil War Home website - This site gives a lot of information about the black codes of 1865.
Brown vs. Board of Education - National Park Website - This would be a good website for researching both education and segregation.
Brown vs. Board of Education - Separate is not Equal - This website can be use both for education and for segregation.
Education in the 1930's - Gives general info. on education in the 1930's. Not specific to African Americans.
History of Education - 1930 - Includes some African American Info.
History of Jim Crow Laws - This site gives some good information about how Jim Crow Laws were passed. It also has links to other information.
New Jersey School - 1930's - A guide to what a New Jersey school was like in the 1930's.
Picture This - Depression Era Schools - Pictures and descriptions of schools in the 1930's.
The Rise and Fall of Jim Crow - Jim Crow laws were created to enforce and legalize segregation.
World Book Encyclopedia - Segregation - Awesome article that explains the beginnings of segregation and has links to more useful information as well.

The Dust Bowl/Sharecropping

1930's Dust Bowl - This site gives information about the Dust Bowl as well as some good pictures.
About Sharecropping - Info on sharecropping in general as well as specific examples of sharecroppers.
America's Library - Dust Bowl - This site has a brief description as well as an audio file of an interview with someone who experienced the Dust Bowl.
An Essay on Sharecropping - Gives overall info on sharecropping in the United States.
Photos of Sharecropping - A great primary source of info. on sharecropping.
Sharecropping Contract - This is a copy of an actual contract made between a sharecropper and a land owner.
The Dust Bowl - This site has some nice pictures as well as a little bit of information.
