Top picks for elementary and middle schools

**Colonial House** - Visit an ennactment of a colonial settlement. Meet the real people who played their part in the village and see what their roles were as they struggled for survival. A must!
**Colonial Williamsburg from History.org** - Click on 'explore and learn' on the top menu bar. Follow the multitude of choices given on the left menu. Lots to learn. Save the 'Kids' Zone' accessible through 'Colonial Children' to explore on your own. (A MUST)
**Colonial times** - A springboard to some neat sites and target information for your projects. (A MUST)
**Connect with the 13 Colonies Through Maps** - Find your colony on the map. There's a quiz that may give you additional information. Can you answer some of the questions?
**Jamestown** - Interactive site. Read the goals then scroll down for the adventure to begin. Results of your choices are given in a report to you at the end of your virtural tour. Once you've completed your choices, you are given a report to see how well you would have survived? Did you make good choices? (A FUN MUST)
**Social Studies for kids** - Easy to maneuver among these sites with several highlights in its links. Scoll down to find information on your topic. (A MUST)

Colonial America II - Results of a Think Quest project about the colonialization of America.
History Place - This site lists chronological dates with descriptors that highlight events about our early history.
Money - See what the Colonists used for money and the value placed on it.

Middle school programs

13 original Colonies - Includes maps, documents and links to each state.
America's story (1492-1763) - Read about generalities of events surrounding our Colonial explorations and settlement. Click on the menu choices on the right that provide more information.
Colonial America - Discover the daily life and history of the original thirteen colonies.
Colonial America from Fordham - Presents information about Colonial America including links for more indepth information regarding our early history, how people were exploitated, and eventual resolutions.
Colonial American: exploration to the revolution - Outlines America's early history and exploration through the American Revolution and provides links for more information.
Colonial Williamsburg - Presents information about colonial Williamsburg, pictures of this reconstructed colony, and more. It is worth your time to explore the site and there are some fun, interactive areas as well.
Jamestown II - Presents a history of Jamestown. It also includes excavation of the site in modern times.
