Build a Carbon Atom - This site requires you to know how many up and down quarks it takes to build a proton or a neutron and how to balance the number of protons, neutrons and electrons. You'll also learn how many electrons go into each energy level.
Build an Isomer - Allows you to build all of the possible isomers for a particular beginning carbon backbone.
Chemistry movies - Large selection of animations on chemical themes.
Forensics cases studies - Use chemistry and clues to solve mysteries
Intermolecular Forces - London, dipole-dipole, induced dipole, Van der Waals, h bonding between various molecules.

physics lessons - This site has Java based simulations under IPhysics as well as demonstrations and activities. The Rutherford simulation is under Modern physics. There are also some really cool links to microscopic views including crystals and silicon chips.

Interactive molecules - Journal of Chemical Educaion's collection of interactive molecules. Free softwared called Jmol required for 3D viewing. Molecules are linked to specific articles in the Journal.
The Three Dimensional View of the Periodical Table - CHIME based 3d view of atomic radii.
Umass chime site - 3-dimensional molecular models including DNA, proteins, cell membranes and hemoglobin. Requires free chime plug-in. Awesome effects possible like Vanderwaals radii.
Virtual Museum of Minerals and Molecules - A 3-D collection of manipulable minerals and molecules. Requires Jmol software available from this site as a link to the jmol site and downloadable in three files.

Chemistry Concepts and Applications Student Center - Use the Site Map to open up the resources. There are practices tests, quizzes, weblinks, periodic table links, Problem of the week links, webquests, Standardized test practice, In the News links, and a 25 page math handbook.
Introductory Chemistry: A Foundation - Zumdahl text website offers practice tests, flash cards, student study guide, movies and animations, math tutorials, an interactive periodic table with radii, affinity, ionization energy by row or column. There is a CHIME molecule library, a CHIME tutorial, chemistry careers section and tutorials. There is a link to an online help center. There are also media activities. It does not require a password to use these resources.
World of Chemistry Class Zone - This is an online site tied to the World of Chemistry textbook. It contains flashcards, practice tests and downloadable chapter powerpoints.
