BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS - Take a look at possible careers based on your favorite subjects in schools.
CALIFORNIA OCCUPATIONAL OUTLOOK - Provides information about the growth of careers in California.
CAREER INFONET - Find out about the career that you are interested in and what the future holds for this career.
GOVERNMENT OCCUPATIONAL OUTLOOK - This searchable site will provide you with an overview of your career,

CAREER GUIDES - Links to sites about a wide variety of careers.
CAREER INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS - Links to current information for students.
CAREER QUEST - This ThinkQuest offering is subtitled 'A student guide to jobs, resumes & vocationalinterests.' There is a career quiz, help with resumes, and lots and lots of content on jobs and making satisfying choices. The authors use the metaphor of a town in the Old West consistently throughout the site, which provides a nice tie-in for the materials.
CAREER SURF - A site with links to a variety of career information.
COUNTDOWN - This site is a great starting place for middle schoolers. The Interest Survey is fun and is linked to information about suitable careers.
CYBER TEEN - CAREERS - A source of links career information and how to go about getting a job.
GUIDANCE AND CAREERS - Links to lots of information about choosing a career and getting information about it.
WOMEN'S WORK - At this site, female professionals share information about their careers and the training involved so that girls can begin to appreciate the possibilities in their own future. Though it is not exhaustive by any means, the list gives insight and advice that can only be shared by professionals in their fields. Students who hit reload on the browser will get a random professional who will share her career!

INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

COLLEGE IS POSSIBLE - College Is Possible is devoted to helping families realize the dream of sending kids to college. Included are financial resources for parents, recommended middle and high school courses for students, and college selection resources. Much of the site is also available in Spanish.
