Animal Sites - American Library Association’s list of great animal websites for kids.
Aquarium - The Monterey Bay Aquarium site provides live and recorded Web camera shots of many of the animal exhibits.
BBC Animals - The BBC provides articles and interactive, multimedia resources in categories such as Mammals, Birds, and Sea Life.

National Wildlife - The National Wildlife website offers plentiful information on animal species considered endangered.
National Zoo - This site has pictures, information, and live film clips of animals at The Smithsonian National Zoo.
