Introduction
Wars have a habit of bringing out the best and the worst in people. This statement is true today and throughout history. The American Revolution set the stage for many different kinds of people to gain noteriety. Women and men of all races played important roles. Your job today is to spend a little time learning about a notable person from the American Revolution and create a product to share with the class. You need to focus to time on research to answer the question, 'Who is this person and how did he/she impact the American Revolution?'

2) Use the links provided as a springboard for research. Gather information that would help you provide a biographical sketch (description) of your person and that answers the key question.

3) Take notes on loose leaf- write down important information and fun facts. Also be sure to describe, in detail, their role in the war.

4) Use your information to create a brochure about your person. Use images, interesting fonts, etc. When a reader is done reading your brochure he or she should have a good idea what your famous person is about.
