  2. FAQ: Our frequently asked questions explains what Filamentality is, what it does, who can use it, why you can't add graphics or sound, and who to contact if you lose your username and password.

  3. Log in: There are two login pages, one for users who are just starting a new page and the other for users who want to return to their existing page and edit
    Start a New Topic
or Return to an Existing Topic

  4. User Guides: Provides a broad theoretic overview of Filamentality and how it can be used based on learning goals. We have also created Handouts that you can download to help you understand and use Filamentality. Note: For step-by-step directions, take a look at the Guided Tour or download the Filamentality flowchart handout.

  5. Instructional Design: Filamentality is more than just a tool that will make a web page. Filamentality is trying to help you create web pages that encourage real, active learning. Filamentality assists you in making five different Activity Formats depending upon the Learning Goals you have for users of your page.

  6. Idea Generator: We have a simple javascript tool that might stimulate ideas for Choosing a Topic

  7. Step-by-step Guided Tour: This Quick Tour will walk you through each step of the Filamenatality process and provide tips to help you. If you are training a large group and have a projector, it helps to put the tour up on the screen. Then you can explain the steps as your learners actually create a page. You can also print out the tour from our downloadable pdf.

  8. Customizing Your Page: Basically, you can't as long as it's on our server.

  9. Mentality Tips: These tips will help you along the way to make decisions or to accomplish various tasks. Try them, we think you'll find them quite useful.
