General Color Resources/Tutorials:

• Using Background and Link Colors and Background Sampler from Netscape (can't help but wonder how long this will be around...
• Color, from About.com's Web Design Tips, content and links to other resources, unfortunately quite "ad full."
• Need ideas? Try the Cool Homepages web site and see what others have done.
• From the Web Developer's Virtual Library - check out "Using Background Images on Web Pages, " "Using Color on the Internet," and "Colour." (There but for the "u" goes I!)

Interactive Color Tools:

• Dynamite color popup window from Visibone.
• Choosing a color - click on the ABCDEFG link to see the color as a background, from Project Cool.
• Doug's Color Picker - select colors from a chart, then click to see what the page will look like.
• Web Color Theory from Mundi Design - there are 3 ways to use this; click on one of the choices at the bottom right.
• TextColorizer - makes fancy gradient text and supplies the code for you; then you cut and paste it into your document. (slow)
• Two4U's Color Compose Engine - play with a slider bar, generate the hex code.
• ColorMaker - play around with swatches and backgrounds to see what your page will look like.

• Fonts, Webmonkey Web Developers Resources, a manageable list that includes tutorials.
• Webopedia definition of a font
• Written about email newsletters; but focuses on usability, check out Psst! What's the Best Font for Your Newsletter?
• Microsoft Typography - free fonts, utilities, info, and more.
• If you're on a budget, you might be using PaintShop Pro. Here are some tutorials from ELATED.

• Cool Archive will lead you to downloadable fonts, clip art, and even a logo maker!
• Some free tools can be found at MediaBuilder's Animation Factory.
• FontMagic is a downloadable software which helps you create 3-D text.
• Just what the doctor ordered, a bunch of easy to use logo generators: FlamingText.com Keep clicking "next" until you find what you want! Totally Cool!
