HTML of Adding Images




Here is the HTML (hypertext markup language) used to get an image (IMG) to show up (as a source - SRC) on your web page:
  1. You need an image in .gif (GIF) or .jpg (JPEG) format

  2. The image must be in the same location as your HTML document (i.e., the same folder, directory, diskette, etc.)

  3. You have to add the HTML code: <IMG SRC=spiderbrain.gif>

  4. There you have it! Steps 1, 2, 3 will get you this spider spinning filamentality marvelous image.
