Make An Activity Page

So You're Ready to Make an Activity Page?
By using Filamentality to create a hotlist, you already have the raw materials for a great web-based Activity Page--i.e. a good list of reliable, working links. This web page will show you the step-by-step process for creating an Activity Page using your Filamentality hotlist. The steps are:
  1. Sorting Your List of Links
  2. Brainstorming Activities
  3. Adding Activities
  4. Customizing Your Activities Page

Set-Up Multiple Browser Windows
To view these Beyond the Son of Filamentality lessons while you're working on your own web page, you'll want to have two browser windows open: one for "Beyond the Son..." and the second for your web page(s). This is a breeze if you're using Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer (if you're not using one of these, sorry we don't know...). What you do is:

Open Two Browser Windows
Launch your browser (Netscape or Explorer) and open your Filamentality hotlist in it.
Open a second browser window in Internet Explorer using File, then New, then Window. Netscape Navigator is a little easier, use File, New Navigator.

Open New Browser Graphic

Once the new window is open, you can arrange the two windows so that you can get to either one whenever you like. One suggestion is to make one window short and wide and the other long and narrow. This way you can keep both the Beyond Filamentality tutorials and your own Web page open and available at all times.
